                                              Mission Statement

“Indy Music Portal exists to bring High Definition Video and also a live music calendar
to the people of Indianapolis, In and the world. If a picture is worth a thousand words
then HD video coupled with music makes a superb gateway for people who cannot
make it to different venues to see live music.”  We believe that our local community
is abound with fantastic talent that needs to be showcased. Indy Music Portal is born
with the basic principle of providing high video quality on the internet., but we face
the issue from a new perspective: instead of perpetuating unsuccessful efforts,
we seek to create a plattform where musicians and audiences have a direct, relationship.

In order for Video's to be truly free –in all senses-, Videographers need to receive
the fair pay they deserve for filling our lives with new HD Video's. Also, people need
an open Portal, rich with new Video possibilities, while satisfying their desire to
obtain all these Video's without having to spend money.

This is where the third element comes in, the one responsible for putting the whole
thing in motion: our sponsors. In order for everyone to view video's without having
to pay for them, our sponsors have the opportunity to communicate messages
from their brands which are specifically interesting for internet surfers.
This is how the circle closes up and goes around.

Each time a new internet surfer joins our flight, a new pair of wings is added,
bringing all of us closer and closer to the ultimate dream of streaming
HD video in real time, for everybody."

Indianapolis, IN 46220
Tel. 317.251.5562  Local Bar:

Mugshots, formerly the Stone Mug (a biker-friendly bar), is one of the latest
additions to the Broad Ripple nightlife scene. Not really a part of the Strip,
Mugshots is more of a neighborhood pub type of scene, and draws a corresponding crowd.
You won't really see the young crowd that flocks to Ripple on weekend nights hitting up Mugshots,
but if you're a little older and/or just not into that club scene, this may be more your pace,
and still a part of the energy of Broad Ripple. Mugshots has a great cheeseburger,
which goes down well with a cold brew
while you're shooting some pool. I personally do not care too much for Karaoke,
but if you're fan, you'll dig this place on Wednesdays. If you like to leave out the
flair when you're out drinking, you may want to dip in to Mugshots and drink a few to see if you blend in.

of this Indy lounge is beautifully appointed with a deep red bar, plush leather

The Historic Vollrath Tavern has been in operation at its original location since
it opened its doors for the first time in 1926. During prohibition, The Vollrath
served as a Speakeasy until congress repealed the 18th amendment with the
21st amendment rendering the original Volstead act unconstitutional in December
of 1933. Folks like John Dillinger to name just one were know to frequent the
Vollrath on a regular basis, drinking and playing cards in the basement until the
wee hours in the morning. The Vollrath Tavern is located on the very near-South
side of downtown Indy in the historic Southside "Sacred Heart Catholic Church"
neighborhood. Located @ Meridian and Palmer...3 blocks east. When you enter
the Vollrath it's like stepping back into time into an old LARGE "Chicago / Brooklyn style"
neighborhood tavern as it was when John Dillinger used to frequent it. It's original
ornate wood and mirror bar is still there and the entire place is authentic to it's
origination date down to the old slate tile floor and restored original wood plank
floors. There are a couple of pool tables, dart machines and a gaming systems
on the large flat screens. Come soak up the nostalgia while enjoying the great
drink pricing, live music and the nostalgia.
